I could start every day with donuts!
It started when I was a child. We had this amazing little local place in Evansville called the Donut Bank. It was a Saturday morning treat :-) We each had our regular donut choice, Mom, Dad, Betsy and I. I love going back to visit to see family, always…and for the donuts.
Recently I heard about this AMAZING place downtown called the Doughnut Vault. It’s a hole in the wall place that only makes 600 donuts a day and sell them until they’re gone every morning, and then they close. I was immediately intrigued, of course, and had to go check it out. I first went  with our friends Gillian & Christian, but this weekend I dragged Wil along to wait in line in the cold outside. You can see part of the line was in one of the pictures, you definitely want to get there early! But let me tell you, it is SO worth it. This week they had BIRTHDAY CAKE DONUTS. Yes, with sprinkles INSIDE and out. Amazing. It was almost painful to get home and take pretty pictures before gobbling them up with mimosas!
Just a few pretty pictures of course :-) And my whole hearted recommendation to go to the Doughnut Vault and definitely get there early!
