They received over 7,000 submissions from 39 countries for this collection. For those of you who aren’t photographers, I can’t really convey how incredibly awe inspiring it is to be included in this list of artists. These are people that I have looked up to for years. Many of them are truly icons of the industry.
It’s been a busy fall around here, and I couldn’t be more honored to have several weddings and engagement sessions featured on national wedding blogs! The following are in no particular order :-)
I couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate these recent features! It was a big goal of mine for this year to be published, and it’s so cool to see all of my submission work pay off. First up! The beautiful Mallory & handsom Matthew’s engagement session was picked up by Style Me Pretty Illinois. You can see the SMP feature here, and my blog post of their hot session right here.
I am so excited to share that I am keeping up with my goal to submit my work for publication! And that it’s actually paying off. The submission process can be tedious and really frustrating. I’ve been told “no” more times than I’ve been told yes. But it’s all worth it to see my work published and share that joy with my awesome clients! I am thrilled to say there is more coming and definitely a lot more in the pipeline…but I couldn’t put of sharing this any more!
Mallory & Matthew’s engagement session was too fun not to share! It was so cool to hear more of their story on WCIU (The U) and see my work on TV. Their feature went up at 6:50am last Friday, thankfully WCIU puts all of their segments online for rewatch :-)
Chaili commented during their Beloved session that this changed the game of photography for her. This took it to a whole other level! I am so excited to have been the person to walk them through Beloved for the first time, to capture their gorgeousness, and now to celebrate it being featured on Ever Ours!!
I cannot thank you all (everyone reading!) enough for your support and daily encouragement. It is SO amazing to chase my dreams, accomplish goals, and enjoy delicious food with with you all along the way :-)
This is so exciting! I am thrilled to share with you all that my engagement images of Megan and Kyle were featured on WCIU-TV on Friday. The whole story of how this happened just makes me smile.
Two weeks ago, the evening of our first global SHARE group, I received an email from a Content Producer at WCIU-TV here in Chicago asking permission to interview one of my couples and use my images to help tell their love story for a You & Me This Morning piece. He had found me by doing an area search on Twitter and loved my website and work. Social media works! WOO! I connected him with Megan, they did an at home interview, and then were featured Friday morning. I am so impressed with how quickly the whole process turned around, but really happy because that means it’s up already too!
Okay without further adieu, this is the segment :-) I got up at 6:20 to watch on Friday, and am so glad they put it up online after so you all can see it too. Their story is so sweet!!
