Chanel and Mike’s colorful summer wedding was intimate (as all COVID weddings must be), but overflowing with vibrance. After rescheduling not once, but twice, the couple wed at the bride’s mother’s home in Mettawa in late August. They held the ceremony outdoors, and had a beautiful open air tent to host the reception safely outdoors. For a sweet sentimental touch, they hired a painter to capture the festivities during cocktail hour. All carefully planned and perfectly executed by Stephanie Cook of The Creative Planners in only forty-two days! It was so beautifully over the top, with an endless supply of wildflowers making their way into nearly every photo. Jason with Flowers for Dreams did a wonderful job at utilizing the flowers already naturally found around the grounds into the bouquet and decor. Chanel also had beautiful flowers embroidered in her dress. Their wedding has a lovely spread in the latest print issue of Modern Luxury weddings, you can click to see it below as well as a few more of my favorite photos from the day.
