Making Sushi at Home
Monday night was a real treat. Our friend Rene (who was Wil’s roommate before we got married) came over for dinner. Normally when we have friends for dinner, I do the cooking. Rene might be the only exception to that rule. When Rene comes for dinner, he cooks. With other friends I might put up a fight. Or at least pretend to…but since Rene is the Sous Chef at Next… I smile and know that we’re going to eat a delicious meal. We had so much fun and I actually learned a lot about making sushi (an area I have zero expertise). Also…it tasted divine.
