In all of the hectic-ness of summer (aka busy season) my quality time with Wil gets pushed to the back burner too frequently. I work a lot. He works a lot. Our “free time”(hah!) schedules don’t line up like 95% of the time. I won’t lie, it sucks.
This weekend though, I photographed Shauna & Mike’s wedding on Friday (sneak peek on the blog here if you missed it) and then magically the rain made way to reschedule my Beloved session with Amanda & Katrina. (I can’t wait for their session!!) Which means….Wil and I actually got to spend time together ALL WEEKEND. WHAT?!?!?!? Amazing, I know. We made mimosas, watched the first three episodes of Newsroom, walked around the neighborhood, actually got to go to church together, devoured Big Star tacos & guac, went to the movies, and enjoyed evenings on the porch. This is what summer should feel like.
Last night when we were sitting on the front porch I asked Wil to hang on for a second so I could grab a bar stool and my camera to take this picture. He sighed, and agreed.
Thank you, my darling husband. My beloved. These are the days that I cherish.
