This weekend was exactly what I needed. Wil and I reflected on our drive back up to Chicago that we both felt rested. In the best way possible. I did my best to remember to take a few candid pictures :-)

Granny, Mom and Betsy made the most delicious chocolate chip cookies I have eaten in ages….with CHICKPEAS!!!!! RIGHT?! Since they were healthy I decided to eat 10.

 As a graduation gift for my sister, we had a portrait session Saturday afternoon :-) Full post coming of these pictures next week!

Saturday night we went to our family friends’ the Klipsh’s for dinner. Sunday was Stewart & Amy’s 23rd anniversary! I’ve always loved their rings, and how they fit together so I decided to take pictures :-)

 And then my macro love took over and I had to take a picture of Granny’s ring too…

 And my parents…. seriously though isn’t my Mom’s opal engagement ring so cool?!

Driving home the sun was juuuuuust right to catch a flare on Wil ;-)

and the skies were just too cool coming into the city…I couldn’t resist.
