Last Wednesday Wil and I celebrated date night at a very special place. It was so exciting to experience the Sicily menu at Next during it’s first week. Rather than a crazy exciting gastro celebration, this menu takes a totally different direction into a delicious Sicilian home. My absolute favorites were the grilled artichoke (which you can bet your booty I’m going to try to re-create) and the blood orange ice. Many thanks to Fran from the table next to ours for taking the picture of us. It’s too easy to get dressed up, go to a wonderful dinner, and completely forget to take a picture of yourselves!
