2012 was an amazing year work wise….but a completely exhausting one personally. By the time Christmas came I was really ready for a break. And my sweet, wonderful family actually provided that. This is kind of miraculous you see, because they say yes all the time just like me. (Any ideas where I get that from?) I literally only got my real camera out to take a few pictures of us for my parents Christmas card, otherwise it stayed in my bag. So! This is the instagram version of my family Christmas :-)
1. “The Game” or as you may know it, Sequence, is a family favorite. Also, Mom & Bets matched and so did Dad & Wil. It’s like they were begging me to take a picture. 2. Charlies Mongolian Barbeque! Straight up deliciousness. 3. Granny facetimed for the first time ever to meet her beautiful first great-grand child, Quincy (born on Christmas Eve). She’s beautiful. 4. Lots of snow overnight! (why can’t we get that in Chicago???) 5 .Making dinner with my Dad :-) 6. Mom & Betsy set up four square in the basement!!! 7. My parents reading the Bible side-by-side. Recipe for a beautiful marriage. I look up to them so much! 8. DONUT BANK. 9. Looking through my parent’s wedding album (which is now in pieces) and thinking about why I do what I do…and how much I love it.
