It has been a crazy, hectic, amazing wedding season (and year). And now I have a little break from weddings until New Years Eve and I’ve decided to take this time as a rest from Monday through Thursday blogging as well. I have blogged four to five days a week for the past two and a half years and I can honestly say that it’s one of my favorite parts of running this business. However, I’m more than a wee bit burnt out. If you’ve read between the lines of my rare personal posts this year you know that it’s been a hard year at home –full of really exciting professional accomplishments — but a hard year none-the-less. I’ve decided it’s time for a sabbatical. There are incredible things to come for Emilia Jane Photography in 2014 (you are going to LOVE the weddings I’ve booked). I’ve been working with Jennifer Olmstead of Deleted Space Creative on a rebrand that truly displays my striving for elegance and pursuit to redefine and reclaim the beauty that is traditional wedding photography. She’s crafted this stunning mark and new logo for me and I could not be any more excited to launch the new site and brand next year. So what can you expect until January? A few posts here and there about fun life things and pretty pictures I’m taking…but nothing planned. I’ll be sure to post to facebook and twitter and probably even instagram if you should come check here for new content :-) I hope you have a really beautiful holiday season and I can’t wait to share more exciting life and business things in the new year.
