Long Lunches and Late Nights

Long Lunches and Late Nights

Hands down the biggest blessing since going full time has been the ability to spend more time with people.

Since Wil is traveling more now too, not only do I have day time availability, but I have more evenings free. I’m spending more time working for and with my clients, with Wil, with awesome wedding industry people, with photographers, and with friends. It feels so good to not sit behind a desk all day. I probably shouldn’t count the number of networking appointments I’ve had in the past three weeks. I may be going just a little bit overboard socializing here at the start ;-) But thankfully I am in an industry where I can also be friends with my competition. Where we can teach each other, and learn from each other, and grow together not only in business, but in life. It fills me with joy to take the time and be able to encourage others, and also be encouraged. With wedding season fast approaching, I will probably need to find a better balance in my schedule so I’m not leaving the house every day and breaking up my work time. But in the mean time, I’m taking the relationships in my life to new levels. I am sharing lots of laughs, and more than a few tears. I am praying with people, I am purging possessions, and playing around learning new tricks in Lightroom. There is no doubt in my mind, this is what I am meant for. image source
