A Weekend in New York
Last June (2105) Wil and I spent a weekend just having fun in New York. We’re both in the city often for work, but don’t normally get to stick around and have fun so this was a real treat. We stayed at the W in Union Square and went to our favorite place for dinner, Marta, and generally ate and drank our way through Manhattan. It was so fun to show Wil some of my favorite places: The Frick Collection, Bergdorf Goodman’s home department, the Club Monaco flagship, and Dear Irving. In three years of working in New York three days a week, this was Wil’s first time walking through Central Park. We ended the weekend with an amazing dinner at our dear friend Jack’s apartment. All of these photos were taken on my Fuji XT-1 which is my go-to travel camera if I’m not shooting a session or wedding.
