It is good luck in the Japanese culture to have 1,001 origami paper cranes on your wedding day. The paper cranes, each folded with love by Molly's aunt, were hanging from the ceiling and used throughout the ceremony and reception in shades of cream and gold. Every guest also received a crane at their place setting.
