There are so many things that I love about this wedding, and about Shauna and Mike. I could tell from our very first meeting how very much in love they are. And not just giddy joyful love, but committed, lifetime love. It’s so beautiful to see. I had so much fun with them during their engagement pictures, I just knew the wedding was just going to be awesome.
That love is the most important part, but there are SO many little details about their wedding that I just can’t help but share a few that I am so excited about. When I found out Shauna and Mike were getting married in a beer garden, I did a little happy dance. Then Shauna told me she was going to wear her mother’s wedding dress altered for the ceremony and a Badgley Mischka party dress for the reception!!! Then she one beautiful huge flower around her wrist instead of carrying a huge bouquet. And Mike walks in for the first look with a bow-tie on! Not only do Shauna & Mike clearly have such fun taste, but they’re so laid back (which is wonderful all the time, but especially on your wedding day!). It was raining when I arrived at the Westin so Shauna coolly decided to do the first look in their suite. I think it worked out beautifully, and then thank heavens the skies closed long enough for us to get some beautiful portraits outside. It rained again when we arrived for the ceremony, so again, totally calmly she pushed back the ceremony for 30 minutes. Hello cocktail hour before and after the ceremony! These two couldn’t be any more fun. And then it stopped raining again! They were able to be married outside, and enjoy a beautiful evening. Without further ado…the brand new Mr & Mrs Megleo!

Shauna wore her mother’s wedding dress altered by Silver Moon with Badgley Mischka shoes from ShopBop. And then a Badgley Mishcka reception dress from Saks Fifth Avenue and See by Chloe shoes. Mike wore a Huge Boss suit.
Kris’ dad is a doctor. He hand wrote their card. Have you ever seen such beautiful script?!
The moms hugging each other kills me! So much joy.
Annnd the food. I don’t even know where to start! Literally every single dish was delicious. I love working with foodie couples SO much!
